Black spot:

One of the reasons why you get fungi growth on your pre painted roof is that water based paints are organic in nature so fungi in the right environment will thrive on this as a food source.

Unpainted roof cladding does not seam to attract as much black spot however it still is common on unpainted surfaces as well.
